Crime Report: Stolen Jacket, Broken Pole and Damaged Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wendell Gerald, 55, of Port Jefferson, was arrested at his home on Jan. 27 and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. On Jan. 10 at about 2:20 p.m., Gerald allegedly stole a jacket from Something For Everyone Thrift Shop in Port Jefferson Station.

Robert Cavanaugh, 25, who is homeless, was arrested at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson on Jan. 28 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Cavanaugh allegedly became irate while he was being discharged for an unknown reason and broke a metal stand.

Ronald Moa, 51, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Feb. 2 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Moa allegedly went to a house in Port Jefferson Station and wrote with permanent marker on the siding, pulled the front screen door off its hinges and cut wires to the television.
