Crime Report: Suspended License, Violent Behavior, and Stolen Items from Kohl’s
A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Port Jefferson
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Nov. 28—Dec. 4:
Nicholas Recchion, 19, of Ronkonkoma was arrested Nov. 30 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports state Recchion had more than three suspensions on his driver's license.
Brian Poirier, 33, of Port Jefferson was arrested Nov. 29 in Port Jefferson and charged with disorderly conduct. Reports state Poirier was presenting violent behavior by banging the walls and cabinets at his home.

Cristoval Marquez, 32, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Nov. 28 in East Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Marquez stole assorted clothing and headphones from the Kohl's department store located on Nesconset Highway in Setauket.
None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must write the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
