Crimes Nearby: Cheese and Steak Allegedly Stolen From Stop and Shop

Miller Place
Douglas Chiaro, 56, of Brooklyn, was arrested May 27 in Miller Place and charged with petty larceny. Chiaro allegedly walked past the cashier and into the parking lot with various cheeses and steaks.

Sheryl Stellwagen-Svensson, 57, of Rocky Point, was arrested May 29 in Rocky Point and charged with DWAI combined drugs/alcohol and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was allegedly found slumped over in her car near King Road and Garden Road and found with prescription pills.
Samuel Andaluz, 36, of Patchogue, was arrested June 2 in Rocky Point and charged with DWI-first offense. Andaluz was arrested on Rocky Point Road north of Whiskey Road at 12:10 a.m. driving a 2004 Buick. Police said Andaluz crashed his vehicle at the time of his arrest.

East Setauket
Suffolk County police are investigating incidents of criminal mischief at a pair of automotive shops both located on N. Belle Meade Road in East Setauket in which vehicles were damaged but no property was stolen. In one incident, the front driver's side window was smashed and wires were ripped out from under the hood, but nothing was taken from inside the vehicle. It happened at an auto shop located at 178 N. Belle Meade Road between 7 p.m. on May 29 and 7 a.m. on May 30. Similarly, windows of two vehicles were broken at an auto shop located at 130 N. Belle Meade Road between 6:40 p.m. on May 29 and 7:30 a.m. on May 30.
Smithtown
Christopher Ferguson, 22, of Smithtown, was arrested on May 31 at 8:30 p.m. on seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument charges. Reports state Ferguson was arrested on Veterans Highway with 13 hypodermic syringes and heroin.
Michael Ladd, 34, of Centereach, was arrested in Smithtown on June 1 at 4:30 p.m. on second degree criminal mischief charges. Reports state Ladd was arrested on Veterans Highway.
Anthony Rodriguez, 21, of Holbrook, was arrested in Smithtown on May 28 at 4:45 a.m. on operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 - 1 percent charges, first offense. Reports state Rodriguez was driving a 1991 Jeep on East Main Street at the time of the arrest.
St. James
Steven Delgiudice, 22, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested on May 29 in St. James at 11:03 p.m. on seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree obstruction of governmental administration charges. Reports state Delgiudice was in possession of heroin and other drugs on 2nd Street and 1st Avenue.
Riverhead
Collin M. Woodley, 54, of Riverhead, was arrested June 3 at 1:46 p.m. at Peconic Avenue in Riverside and charged with circumventing an interlock device and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree, alcohol related, both misdemeanors, as well as following too closely, a traffic infraction. Police said Woodley was involved in a minor accident in the Flanders traffic circle and it was discovered his license was suspended for a prior DWI arrest.
