Crimes Nearby: Shoreham Man Allegedly Robs Medford Bank

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

East Setauket

Louis Alfano, 46, of East Setauket, was arrested Aug. 23 in Selden and charged with third-degree grand larceny. According to police, Alfano stole jewelry from a residence on Glenwood Lane in Port Jefferson between July 2 and Aug. 2.

Smithtown

Fermin Gomez, 51, of Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown on Aug. 23 on petit larceny charges stemming from a June 30 incident. Reports state Gomez was arrested at 727 Veterans Highway in Smithtown on June 30 1:21 p.m. after he took two containers of Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner from a store without paying for them.

Miller Place

Timothy Campbell, 18, was arrested Aug. 26 and charged with second degree harassment. Campbell was in an argument with a homeowner on Harrison Ave. in Miller Place, when he allegedly punched the homeowner. A complaint was filed and Campbell was found and charged with harassment.

Rocky Point

Two were arrested Aug. 19 and charged with grand larceny. Dennis Sinkusky Jr. and William McEnery were both charged with grand larceny for allegedly taking various metal machine parts from a landscape yard located at 415 Route 25A in Rocky Point between Aug. 16-18.

Medford

A Chase bank in Medford was robbed Tuesday morning, but police say the man responsible was arrested soon after. Angel Delgado, 29, of Shoreham, entered the bank at 700 Patchogue Yaphank Road around 9:20 a.m. and "handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatened the use of a weapon if she did not comply," police said. The teller gave Delgado an unspecified amount of cash and Delgado fled, police said. He was later found riding a bicycle and apprehended in Bellport. He is charged with first degree robbery.

Nesconset

James Ramunni, 24, of Nesconset, was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with grand larceny in the third-degree, two counts of burglary in the second-degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Ramuni entered a Nesconset home on Old Nichols Road through an unlocked door and stole cash and a car key. He allegedly stole a 2010 Honda Civic.

Then Ramunni entered a Nesconset home on Lincoln Avenue to steal assorted coins, according to police reports. Cops were called to the scene and arrested Ramunni on Lincoln Avenue, where they allegedly found him in possession of a controlled substance.

Riverhead

Riverhead Town police report that over a dozen cars were broken into in the Reeves Park area sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. Police say although over 12 cars were broken into, no glass appears to have been broken. A "variety" of items was stolen from the cars, police say, including a briefcase, loose coins and a GPS. An investigation is ongoing; no suspects have been arrested, police say.

Southampton Town Police detectives arrested Anthony Lloyd Pendelton, 17, of Flanders on Sunday at 10:39 p.m. and charged him with allegedly sexually abusing a five-year-old girl. Police say the incident occurred on Saturday at a Flanders residence; Pendleton was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a class "D" felony, two counts of criminal sexual acts in the first degree, "B" felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Police released no further information about the incident.
