Crimes Nearby: Stolen Hard Drives in Riverhead

Smithtown

Michael Loubier, 35, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Nov. 27 in Smithtown and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Loubier was arrested on Veterans Memorial Highway for allegedly making deliveries for Leonardo's Pizza Cafe in Hauppauge without giving the pizzeria any money.

Stephan Tiarks, 47, of St. James, was arrested Nov. 28 at his home in St. James and charged with third degree grand larceny and insurance fraud. He is accused of submitting a false claim that a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

Brittney Micheletti, 25, of Holbrook, was arrested Nov. 29 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a forged instrument. Reports indicate she was arrested on Maple Avenue, allegedly in possession of prescription pills and a forged prescription she used in Lake Ronkonkoma.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Oscar Alvarez, 25, an undomiciled man, was arrested on Dec. 1 at about 7:20 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property. He was found by King Road and Polk Street in Rocky Point after allegedly puncturing rear driver side tire of a Ford F-250.

Eric Smarrelli, 27, of Miller Place, was arrested on Nov. 29 at about 5:30 p.m. and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was arrested after reportedly crashing a 2001 Toyota on Route 347 in Setauket.

Jason Annunziato, 22, of Wading River, was arrested on Nov. 28. He allegedly refused an officer's attempt to pull him over on Route 25A in Rocky Point and fled the scene. He was charged with reckless driving, fleeing a police offer and committing several traffic violations while fleeing.

Riverhead

A 39-year-old Northampton woman was arrested on Nov. 29 and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing, both misdemeanors. The woman allegedly attacked a repossession agent with a large barbecue fork. An unidentified repossession agent arrived at home of Carolyn Parker on Nov. 29 at around midnight and tried to tow away a car parked in her driveway that she had defaulted payments on, police said. Police said Parker attacked him with a large barbecue fork when he tried to tow the vehicle. Officers did not know what type of car the agent was repossessing.

Riverhead Police arrested Kenneth Bailey on Nov. 30 and charged him with menacing, fleeing an officer, and reckless driving after police said Bailey threatened to kill a Riverhead woman and then led police on a high speed chase on Nov. 29 and escaped.

Two unknown women reportedly stole over $1,000 in hard drives from the Target on Route 58 on Nov. 23, police said. The complainant from Target told police that the two women were caught on surveillance video carrying large bags that he believes hid the missing merchandise, according to a police report. The victim said the two women stole four hard drives worth $1,116 in total.
The first suspect was described as being in her mid 20s with long brown hair, a white and blue polo shirt, a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans and tan shoes, police said. The second suspect was described as also in her mid 20s, with long black hair, a purple jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
