Suffolk police reported the following incidents in Port Jefferson, Port Jefferson Station, and Mt. Sinai between Jan. 13 and Jan 17:
- On Jan. 13, a patron at Port Jazz in Port Jefferson called to report he was struck by another person between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Everyone was asked to leave the bar following the incident, according to the report.
- On Jan. 14, a resident of Possum Lane in Port Jefferson Station reported that someone assaulted him in his own driveway.
- On Jan. 15, a resident of Wilson Drive in Port Jefferson reported a burglary that took place sometime between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. According to a police report, the homeowner returned home to find the gate open, a broken window on the back door, and a brick near that door. The homeowner found the closets in the home to be open but it was unclear whether anything was stolen.
- On Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m., a resident of Wheat Path Road East in Mt. Sinai reported that someone had shattered windows on a vehicle.
