Police: Four Port Jeff Station Men Created Disturbance at Jefferson Plaza

Men were allegedly drunk and broke bottles in parking lot.

Four men were arrested in Port Jefferson Station at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and creating a hazardous condition.

Jose Lopezsantiago, 34, Jose Medrano, 33, Carlos Martinez, 32, and Miguel Gonzalez, 47, all of Port Jefferson Station, were allegedly hanging out in Jefferson Plaza parking lot drinking and causing a disturbance. The men are accused being drunk and leaving puddles of urine, broken glass and empty glass bottles on the ground. Police say that pedestrians and motorists had to swerve to avoid hitting them.

According to public records, three of the men appeared in Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip on May 25. Lopezsantiago did not post his bail set at $500. Records show he had a warrant issued in 2007. Medrano and Martinez were released on their own recognizance. No information was available about Gonzalez.
