Slashed Tire, Catalytic Converter Theft Reported in Port Jefferson Station

The Suffolk County Police Department responded to the following incidents between July 22 and July 27.

• An employee at McDonald's in Port Jefferson Station reported that someone slashed a tire of his 2007 Honda Fit sometime after he arrived for work at 11:30 p.m. on July 27.

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a 2004 Toyota Sequoia at Nassau Suffolk Lumber & Supply on Hallock Avenue in Port Jefferson Station on July 25. The incident happened between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on July 17.

• A guest at a block party on Montrose Drive in Port Jefferson Station reported July 25 that a fight broke out and someone punched him. The victim was treated for injuries at Mather Hospital following the incident, which happened on July 20 at around 9:30 p.m.

• A resident of Marcy Drive in Mt. Sinai reported that someone stole jewelry from the home sometime between Jan. 2 and July 26. The jewelry was discovered missing July 26 at around 1 p.m.
