UPDATE: No Injuries Reported in Two-Car Crash

Accident on Tuesday afternoon at Route 25A and Mt. Sinai-Coram Road.

Update 3:30 p.m. - According to police, no injuries were reported in Tuesday's accident. The call came in at 12:28 p.m. and within 20 minutes, tow trucks were called.

Original Story - Two cars crashed at the intersection of Route 25A and Mt. Sinai-Coram Road Tuesday afternoon.

The intersection has had its issues, and a home at the intersection which was hit by a car twice in 2012 can be seen in the background in the photo above.

The story is breaking and there is currently no word on injuries. Stay tuned to Patch for udates.

You NY drivers need to slow down 30 means 50 here. Average speed down 25a is 55 to 60 in a 45 zone.What is the hurry? Police have lost all control of traffic here, its like thay gave up and the people know it. Thats why anything goes.

I agree with Edward 100%; in fact, my children have commented on how dangerous drivers are compared to when we drive out of state, and that's coming from a nine and six year old. The police need to get tough with aggressive drivers.

I agree here, the intersection is fine, people just drive like idiots. I am sure at least one of the 2 drivers was not paying attention, distracted, whatever. Hope the people are OK regardless.
