The Port Jefferson village board is looking at ways to renovate Rocketship Park in the parking lot near Mill Creek Road, according to a story in The Port Times Record.
"The board is first comparing prices of fencing and lighting, but is also looking for ways to fund the replacement of broken playground equipment, in response to a resident complaint," reported the paper.'
