Does Working With Old Textbooks Sacrifice Education?

After some parents in Comsewogue School District discovered that their children were bringing home textbooks vandalized with vulgar language they wondered if the value of education was being sacrificed. Other parents went on to complain that their children's textbooks were printed years before the students were born.
