A kid's group, discussing The Blizzard Disaster, by Peg Kehret. Sixth graders Warren and Betsy utilize their Instant Commuter device to travel back in time to observe the 1940 Armistice Day blizzard as research for a school assignment and find themselves in a situation where they may be stuck in 1940 forever! Students will discuss the book while enjoying Italian ices, create snow globes and play games related to the story.
