Accomplishment: McKenna, a senior, received the Long Island Arts Alliance (LIAA) Scholar-Artist Award of Merit in the category of Dance. This event, hosted by the Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts and Newsday, recognized 20 outstanding high school age artists from both Nassau and Suffolk counties as Merit Scholars in categories included music, art, theater and dance.
