Whiz Kids From Port Jeff Make it to 2nd Round of Popular Quiz Show (Photo)
Team will face Cold Spring Harbor High School on April 16.
The team from the has made it past the first round on MSG Varsity’s “The Challenge” quiz show, moving on to face Cold Spring Harbor High School on Monday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m.
In total, 192 high schools from the entire tri-state area take part in “The Challenge,” vying for a $2,500 regional prize for their school. Ultimately, the winners of the tri-state championship will receive $10,000 and each student participating in the final game will receive $500.
The Port Jefferson is represented by Cole Conte, Isabelle Stark, Emma Neiman (Captain), Zachary Graziano and Weien Xu (Alternate). The academic advisor is Laurie McMillen.
