First Day of School for Students, Village Board Meeting This Week in Port Jeff
Here's what's happening this week in Port Jefferson.
-Today is the first day of school for students. Have a hearty breakfast, break out the first day school outfit and be mindful of buses and children in the street.
-The Port Jefferson School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Edna Louise Spear Elementary School.
-The Village Board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at Village Hall. A public discussion of the renovation at Rocketship Park is expected to take place.
The Comsewogue School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Frank D'Addario Administration Building (District Office).
-Looking for love? There is a singles meetup at the Meadow Club in Port Jeff Station on Thursday evening from 7-9.
