The Week Ahead: Waterfront Revitalization, Harborfront Music

1. On Monday, the Affiliated Brookhaven Civic Organizations will host a meeting for residents to learn about the new iteration of the Town of Brookhaven's Carmans River Conservation and Management Plan, and how it would affect local residents. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Main Street fire house in Setauket.

2. Also on Monday, residents of Port Jefferson village can attend a presentation of the village's waterfront revitalization plan at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

3. The Brookhaven Town Board will meet on Tuesday, set for 5 p.m. at Town Hall in Farmingville.

4. The Greater Port Jefferson Arts Council's "Harborfront Picnic Supper Concert Series" begins Wednesday with a free 6:30 p.m. folk and blues show by Sonny Meadows & Drivin' Wheel. Click here for more information.

5. Check out a comedy performance to benefit the organization Response of Suffolk County, which runs a suicide crisis hotline and other crucial health programs. The show is set for 8 p.m. on Friday at Theater Three in Port Jefferson.
