Here's what's happening this week in Port Jefferson.
-There will be a fundraiser for Miller Avenue School Fundraiser at Swirls and Twirls in Port Jefferson Station from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
-Learn some of the essential skills needed to get a job. Résumé writing, interview skills, job searching, and more will be discussed at the Long Island Cares Job Development Program at the Comsewogue Library on Monday at 7 p.m.
-Sudoku Workshop For Beginners is happening on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Porf Jefferson free library.
-Sport fishing on Long Island. Join Captain Jerry McGrath for a multimedia lecture for the fishing novice, and the advanced angler at Port Jefferson Free Library on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. There will be a discussion on bait and lure selections, and techniques for hooking them on rod and reel.
